Wrongfully obtaining and using another person’s personal data for personal or economic gain constitutes identity theft.According to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, most victims don't even know their identity has been stolen until more than a year later. This session explores how identity theft happens, how to protect yourself from this type of theft and what to do if you are a victim.
